Turning point...

If you've come here looking for my other blog, "The Matthias Chronicles", only to be redirected here, you are in the right place. I have reached a "turning point" in my life where I've had to make some very difficult choices and The Matthias Chronicles is just one of them. I've had to be much wiser about where I spent my time lately as my better half's health and mine are simply not as good as both of us would want. As many of you know, I am in an electric wheelchair. While I don't let things get in my way, I have had to admit I need to slow down, just a little though. Don't worry, AFTR isn't going anywhere. Quite a few of my other pages though, will be removed, but not AFTR. I have close to five hundred thousand (500,000) pages spread across the internet. Its amazing how much one can accomplish in ten years.

Back to the Matthias Chronicles... Its four years old this month (April). I've covered many topics and seen the political landscape of the United States change in ways that are disgusting as much as frightening. I watched one party going out of their way to destroy free speech and set us back 40 years in the racial divide. I watched them demonize anyone that disagrees with them and label them "racists". I've seen the pillars of justice be manipulated to the point that rampant voter fraud and voter intimation is now common place. I've watched a rather small yet extreme faction take over an entire political party and drive out any common sense. I've watched our national debt grow at least $5.6 TRILLION under one man and still continues to grow. I've watched a deliberate and malicious attack against everyday citizens of this country unfold daily and the amount of hatred and vitriol is shocking. Quite frankly, its depressing to see where this country is heading, yet our political leaders charged with keeping this country safe are the ones pushing us towards this pit of despair.

Simply put, I'm all for a good debate, but our political scene has become too over-the-top deplorable and disgusting. All the fake outrage while demonizing disabled children or attacking one group women with such hate filled names (under the guise of comedy) while spending billions on another group of women's "bedroom" activities, or the latest scandal, stay at home moms are too stupid to know anything about the economy and have never worked a day in their lives, its just too much. I don't like being judged, condemned or called a racist just because I don't fall in line like the rest of the mindless little zombies being lead to the slaughter. That's not me and something I've tried very hard to avoid, and that's not what "Free Speech" is about or my writtings, for that matter. There are plenty of people that can wade through this sewage. I'm not one of them. The more I hear and read this garbage, the more disgusted I become. As it stands now, I've all but disowned my T.V.

I don't need the stress and frustration of all this political nonsense weighing me down and getting in the way of what I want to do. In the ten years I've been on the internet, AFTR is the first traffic program that has actually gotten off of the ground and done well and I want to spend my time making it better. I've spent a lot of time thinking this over and making sure this wasn't a rash decision and this is the course I really wanted to take.

While I have enjoyed meeting many wonderful people through the Matthias Chronicles, this is where I want to be. To all my friends on the Matthias Chronicles, I invite you to join me here in making a better internet traffic system for blogs.

The best of AFTR is yet to come...
